Dr Shalini Sinha

Dr Shalini Sinha is young, highly talented and accomplished Hindustani Classical Vocalist. She received her initial training in music from Pt Ram Prakash Mishra. Subsequently, since over 15 years, she is taking advanced training in music from the reputed Padma Bhushan Pt Rajan and Pt Sajan Mishra. Dr Shalini has an illustrious academic career with graduation and post graduation in Music.

She was subsequently awarded a Doctorate in Vocal Music at the Faculty of Performing Arts at the Banaras Hindu University. Her PhD in music was under the supervision of the reputed Prof Ritwik Sanyal. Dr Shalini has at a young age has had many performances to her credit all over the country. She has also been the recipient of numerous awards and recognition at various music competitions, at a young age. Shalini has a diverse vocal music repertoire consisting of classical, semi classical and light music forms. She performs in stage and also sings for Bollywood .
